Every church has a story
Our church’s story began in 1889. For generations, our church family has faithfully followed Jesus, served others, given generously, and trusted God to do more than they could have ever imagined.
Because others played their role in God’s bigger story, we are here today. We worship in a facility that someone else dreamed about, prayed for, sacrificed for, and built for us. We are standing in a chapter that was written by those who came before us. But our story didn’t end with them, and it doesn’t end with us.
Today, we are reaching more people and welcoming more families than ever before. God is inviting us to prepare not only for those already here, but to make room for those yet to come. Now it’s our turn to pick up the pen and write the next chapter. Our story is unfinished.
Our vision is to expand our worship and meeting spaces to create new opportunities for more people to encounter Jesus, to find community, and to become part of God’s family and his story. But this vision is about more than just adding square footage. Our vision is to create welcoming environments where more people can gather to worship, grow, and serve.
We want to build a church where everyone has a place to believe and belong, including families with children, young adults, and especially those with special needs. One of the most important parts of this vision is creating dedicated environments where our special-needs community can worship, grow, serve, and experience the church not simply as a place that welcomes them, but as a family where they get involved and truly belong.
We are continuing a vision that began long before us and will continue long after us. So today we face an important question: What is our next chapter as a church?
The decisions we make, the sacrifices we offer, and the opportunities we create today will impact the generations of tomorrow for eternity!
There are families who have not yet walked through our doors, but we pray one day will. There are people who will find hope, healing, community, and a relationship with Jesus because we chose to make room for them. We may never know all the lives that will be changed because of Jesus, but we do know the next chapter, our chapter, has yet to be written. Today, God is inviting us to pick up the pen. What will we write together? Will we be the generation that faithfully continues to co-write God’s story by giving, sacrificing, praying, dreaming, and trusting him for what comes next?
May the generations who come after us look back and say, “Look what God has done through his people!” We ask you to prayerfully join us to help write the next chapter in our story as we build for the future generations.
